Download UML Wizard

Free and open source. Pick the zip for your system, unzip it and run — the builds are self-contained, so .NET does not need to be installed.

Windows

Windows 10 and 11. Run UmlWizard.exe.

win-x64 Intel / AMD win-arm64 ARM

macOS

Apple silicon and Intel Macs. Run UmlWizard.

osx-arm64 Apple silicon osx-x64 Intel

Linux

X11 or Wayland (through XWayland). Run UmlWizard.

All downloads are on the latest GitHub release, together with its release notes. Earlier versions are in the release history.

First run

The builds are not code-signed

Your system warns the first time you run UML Wizard. Here is how to let it start.

Windows

In the SmartScreen dialog, choose More info → Run anyway.

macOS

Remove the quarantine flag:

xattr -dr com.apple.quarantine <unzipped folder>

or allow the app in System Settings → Privacy & Security.

Linux

Minimal installs may need fontconfig and the X11 libraries:

sudo apt install libfontconfig1 libx11-6 libice6 libsm6

Build from source

Prefer to build it yourself?

UML Wizard is built with Avalonia UI and SkiaSharp on .NET. You need the .NET 9 SDK or later. A project file passed on the command line is opened at start-up.
